Job site monitoring · Co-founder & lead engineer

Eye On The Site

Problem
Contractors need to see every job site without driving to each one, and to show their work to win the next client, without buying expensive cameras.
Solution
Built the product: a native Android app that turns any phone into a job site camera (scheduled capture, offline queue, automatic recovery), a React web app with a multi-camera dashboard and remote control, and an AWS backend in Terraform that renders branded timelapses and runs AI person detection on every photo.
Outcome
In production for the US market, in English and Spanish, on Google Play and as a web app, with Stripe subscriptions and a managed device kit.

Double Agents

Problem
Small businesses juggle three or four tools to answer, sell and get paid across WhatsApp, Instagram, email and web chat.
Solution
Designed and built the platform end to end: React, Node.js on Lambda, SQS queues, PostgreSQL and DynamoDB, real-time over WebSockets, all in Terraform. AI agents on AWS Bedrock that answer from the business's knowledge base, send payment links and book appointments.
Outcome
A multi-tenant SaaS in production, in 6 languages, with Stripe, Mercado Pago, Shopify, Tiendanube and a reseller API. Built with an AI-assisted development workflow.

I use it every day to read other people's code, map a huge legacy system and write the tests nobody wrote. I understand an inherited project in days, not weeks.

About me

Father, lover of travel, technology and solving problems.

I started programming as a hobby, and I have been doing it professionally since 2008.

I spent two and a half years at Automattic, the company behind WordPress.com, as a Software Engineer on the Explorers team: a fully distributed team that works across the whole product — wp-calypso, Jetpack, the backend — fixing, improving and unblocking code used by millions of people.

Before and after that, I have built complete products and led over 100 projects: content platforms, internal systems, AWS infrastructure and, today, products with AI built in. I also take over projects others left half-done: reading someone else's code fast is part of the job.
